The legacy of the Wright Family continues, starting with Cody Wright a two-time world champion for Saddle Bronc Riding. His boys are sitting pretty at the top of the charts for Saddle Bronc and are carrying on the tradition of riding in the Las Vegas NFR this December.
The Wright family is from Milford, Utah, a small town with the population of 1,348. It started out as a railroad town and is now the proud home of the saddle bronc riders. The wright family started out with Cody pursuing the rodeo lifestyle and extended to Jake Wright (Cody’s Brother), Jesse Wright (Jake’s Twin), Coburn Bradshaw (Brother-in-law), Spencer Wright (Cody’s Brother), Ryder Wright (Cody’s Son), Rusty Wright (Cody’s Son), and Stetson Wright (Cody’s Son).
Their profession isn’t the most ideal and includes many serious injuries which require them to have a doctor on speed dial. Along with the physicality of the sport they are constantly on the road traveling across the entire country participating in rodeos trying to qualify for the NFR.
